Hello fellow Bloggers,

I will start off with a brief description of my self. My name is Erich. I am 29 years old,and live in Crystal Lake,Illinois. If you want to know anything else, you can look at my profile. I would also greatly appreciate any kind of feed back or advise that you may have. I have blogged before, but I am not quite a pro,at least not yet. OK,so without further a due here is my blog, which will include my predictions for the first three rounds of the 2015 NFL Draft, which will be held on my home turf of Chicago! :) Before I begin,I need to give credit to WalterFootball.com,which is the main source where I get my data from. OK,here we go

Round 1

pick 1-Oakland- Marcus Mariota,QB Oregon. It is already pretty clear that Derek Carr is not going to pan out,at least not on Oakland. It's mostly Oakland's fault for expecting Carr to immediately step in be the number one. Mariota is CLEARLY the best talent at any position that will be coming out this year.

pick 2-Jacksonville-Randy Gregory,DE/OLB Nebraksa. There is already speculation as to whether or not someone would consider trading up to get Mariota. The Jaguars could be the team in the running,if Blake Bortles should falter during the rest of the season. However, for now I have them continuing to focus on their defense, which has holes all over the place. Randy Gregory is clearly the right pick here, should the Jaguars decide to hang on to it.

pick 3-St.Louis [via Tennesee]-Leonard Williams,DE/DT,USC. Here I have the Rams trading up to improve their D-Line.St.Louis is another team that could possibly try to get Marcus Mariota,at number one.

pick 4- Tampa Bay-Andrus Peat,OT Stanford. A lot of people will argue that the Bucs need a QB here, but they only options here are Marcus Mariota, who won't be available and Jameis Winston, who won't go in the first round because he's a goon. I personally am a member of the Mike Glennon band wagon. The fact that Josh McCown has been paid big bucks for all of his luck in Chicago does not concern me at all,the second he left Marc Trestman's system,he returned to his same old mediocre self. That all being said, the Bucs next area of concern is O-line,hence why I say that Andrus Peat is a no brainer.

pick 5-Cleveland-Amari Cooper,WR Alabama.Cleveland could go a lot of ways here, but Cooper makes the most sense. None of the Browns current receivers, except for Josh Gordon, have any kind of talent. Why not bring in a new receiver for a new QB?

pick 6-Washington-Ronald Darby,CB Florida St. The Washington "team to be named later" needs to get younger in the secondary. The Guys they have out their now are not going to cut it...

pick 7-New York Jets-Todd Gurley,RB Georgia. Mike Idzik is going to look passed all of the garbage going on with Gurley, and immediately implant him ahead of "the mediocre Chris Klan",because that's what Idzik, and the Jets do best...

pick 8-Houston-Landon Collins,S Alabama. The Texans' three areas of need are:QB.RB,and Safety,in that order. That being said the best QB and RB are not available in this mock,so they'll have to go after the latter. This could be a potential trade.

pick 9-Miami-P.J. Williams,CB Florida St. DB is the Dolphins biggest area of need, and Williams will be the answer. It will also be convenient for him,as he will only have to travel from Jacksonville to Miami.

pick 10-Carolina-Cedric Ogbuhei,OT Texas A&M.The Panthers must find a way [s] to keep Cam Newton upright. Ogbuhei is one of the top O-linemen coming out.

pick 11-Chicago-Ifo Ekpre-Olomu,CB Oregon. Yes that's right, the Bears are going to spend consecutive 1st round picks on DB's. It's been a while since they've had to,but with Charles Tillman's career likely over, they don't have a choice. To make things better,I.E.O. is also pretty handy at returns.

pick 12-New York Giants-Shilique Calhoun,DE/OLB,Michigan St. The Giants don't have many needs on Defense, but Calhoun will remedy one of them.

pick 13-Tennessee [via St.Louis]-Brett Hundley,QB UCLA I don't care what everyone else says about Jameis Winston,he IS NOT going to be drafted in the 1st round, besides,Hundley has a lot of raw skills, that with proper coaching, [which Ken Wisenhunt will provide] will be refined. We are looking at the next Russel Wilson!!

pick 14-Cleveland [via Buffalo/Minnesota]-Brandon Scherff,OT Iowa. As part of a trade at last years draft, the Browns acquired an extra first round pick, Brandon Scherff will be a day one starter,to help protect Johnny Manziel.

pick 15-Pittsburgh-La'el Collins,OL LSU.

pick 16-Minnesota-Vic Beasley,DE/OLB Clemson. Vic Beasley could have been a 1st round pick last year,if not for some off the field issues. The Vikings are getting a steal!

pick 17-Dallas-Markus Golden,DE/OLB Mizzou

pick 18-Kansas City-Jaelen Strong,WR Arizona St. Jaelen Strong would be a big improvement over the Chiefs current receiving core. Strong has the background to be Alex Smith's number one target.

pick 19-Atlanta-Dante Fowler,DE U of Florida. Fowler has some injury issues, which scared teams off last year. He still has the pedigree to be a 1st round pick.

pick 20-Detroit-Trae Waynes,CB Michigan St. Trae Waynes is an ultra talented DB,who will start off on special teams, which is his main specialty.

pick 21-Indy-Shawn Oakman,DE/DT Baylor.Although I haven't seen much tape on Oakman,there has been a lot of hype surrounding him,so I'll go by that,for now.

pick 22-Philly-Jalen Mills,CB LSU. Jalen Mills has the speed and agility to possibly be a pro bowl caliber DB. I'm hoping his stock rises during the season.

pick 23-New England-Melvin Gordon,RB Wisconsin.I'll be honest,I think the Pats are being ranked too high. The Pats have shown all of the signs of an imminent meltdown. That being said, should they make the playoffs, and right now that is a BIG if,they will be eliminated early.Either way, Melvin Gordon is probably going to be the pick. None of the Pats current RB have done a thing for them. I could go on about the current Brady/Belicheck rumors, but I'll refrain, for now.

pick 24-N'awlins-Eric Kendricks.ILB UCLA. The Saints don't have many needs, but ILB could use improvement.

pick 25-Baltimore-T.J. Yeldon,RB Alabama. Baltimore fans have seen the last of Ray Rice.

pick 26-San Fran.-Alex Carter,CB Stanford

pick 27-Arizona- Leonard Floyd,DE/OLB Georgia

pick 28-Cincy-Hroniss Grasu,C Oregon

pick 29-Green Bay-Denzel Perryman,ILB U of Miami

pick 30-San Diego-Mike Davis,RB South Carolina. Davis might be the most talented of all the RB's coming out. He is definitely an upgrade to Mathews/Woodhead/Donald Brown/Oliver.

pick 31-Denver-Mario Edwards,DE/DT Florida St.

pick 32-Seattle-Cody Prewitt,S Ole Miss. Prewitt is tall and long armed, which fits the bill of all Seahawks DB'S.
